Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants who are:

  • Passionate about advancing equity, inclusion, and economic opportunity.

  • Entrepreneurs, professionals, or community leaders representing diverse backgrounds.

  • Collaborative, creative, and willing to commit a few hours per month to board service.

  • Core Duties:

    • Oversees budgeting, financial reporting, and fiscal accountability.

    • Maintains accurate records of income, expenses, and bank activity.

    • Prepares monthly and annual financial statements for the board.

    • Works with committees to ensure transparency and compliance.

  • Core Duties:

    • Maintains board documentation, bylaws, and meeting records.

    • Ensures timely state and federal filings and compliance with nonprofit law.

    • Tracks board member terms and attendance.

    • Upholds the Chamber’s ethical and legal governance standards.

  • Core Duties:

    • Leads membership recruitment, retention, and onboarding.

    • Builds strong relationships with existing and prospective members.

    • Coordinates member appreciation, feedback, and recognition initiatives.

    • Collaborates with Marketing to promote member stories and successes.

  • Core Duties:

    • Manages the Chamber’s brand identity and public image.

    • Oversees website, social media, newsletters, and press outreach.

    • Creates consistent messaging that reflects inclusion and empowerment.

    • Supports event promotion and community awareness campaigns.

  • Core Duties:

    • Plans and executes Chamber events, workshops, and networking mixers.

    • Secures venues, vendors, and sponsorships.

    • Ensures events reflect inclusivity, accessibility, and community spirit.

    • Tracks event engagement and evaluates program success.

  • Core Duties:

    • Leads DEI initiatives across all Chamber operations and partnerships.

    • Develops and monitors inclusion benchmarks and progress.

    • Provides training and resources for member businesses on equity and belonging.

    • Ensures diverse representation in leadership, speakers, and programs.

  • Core Duties:

    • Provides support across committees and special projects.

    • Assists with board initiatives and strategic planning.

    • Serves as a flexible leader who fills gaps and strengthens overall impact.
